Program Note

              Cooking is a fixed media work that uses recognizable kitchen sounds. Beginning with a simple texture that might actually be heard in the kitchen, the piece progresses to a layering of sounds and rhythmic pulse that move away from typically cooking sounds to a rhythmic, chaotic kitchen experience.
